The Decade Vision
Ten years from now, I want to be the kind of developer who’s not just writing code, but building systems that spark ideas — maybe even entire worlds. Something powerful, meaningful, but with my weird little fingerprint all over it.
I’m not chasing CEO titles. I want agility, freedom, and the ability to lead if the team’s with me. By this point I want to be working fully remote, on my own terms, in a career that supports the kind of life I want to live. My workspace? Worn in. Warm. Efficient.
I’ll probably still be messing with game dev in some form — even if it’s just a hobby that pops off. But I’m hoping the day-to-day is full-stack work with impact: tools, stories, utilities. Something someone depends on. Something someone remembers.
- Primary Career
- Full-stack developer, leading or independent, with multiple projects under my belt.
- Side Hustles
- Publishing indie games or utilities that solve annoying problems.
- Learning Goals
- 3D graphics, AI integration, maybe even something I don't know exists yet.
- Personal Wins
- Momentum, control, and a life that feels just right for someone hitting 31.
- Inspiration
- Living up to the work ethic my father instilled in me.
- Impact
- I helped people — even just a few — and they remembered it.
- Audience
- The ones who feel alone, the ones quietly grinding — I want them to feel seen.
- Just for Fun
- I still want a real hoverboard. Come on, future.
- Dream Collab
- Something with NASA. Space is weird, and I love that.
- Life Balance
- A stable, busy life that includes family. Something balanced but with ambition.
I don’t expect perfection. I expect momentum. Controlled chaos with a clear direction — and maybe a few fun surprises along the way.
